Academic Excellence with a Biblical Foundation
At Cabot Christian School, we are committed to both academic development and spiritual growth for every student. Each day begins with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance, and Bible is taught as a core subject at every grade level.
Class Sizes & Staff
Elementary classes maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio of 15:1 or less, and our Pre-K classrooms are 11:1 or less. All elementary teachers are licensed and certified professionals dedicated to providing high-quality instruction.
Curriculum Overview (Kindergarten–4th Grade)
We use a combination of research-based curricula tailored to different subjects and learning styles, all aligned with Arkansas state standards:
Math: Eureka Math
Science, Social Studies, Health: Studies Weekly
Bible: The Generous Classroom
ELA (Reading, Writing, Phonics): Heggerty which is science of reading-aligned for strong foundational literacy
We also incorporate supplemental programs like IXL, Little Minds at Work, and Education to the Core to support and enrich learning.
Pre-Kindergarten (Ages 3 & 4)
We use BJU Press curriculum for our Pre-K programs, with age-specific content designed to support early development:
Pre-K3 (Pathways for Preschool):
Introduces shapes, colors, manners, healthy habits, ABCs, motor skills, basic math concepts (sorting, patterning, classification, sequencing), art, and more.
Pre-K4 (Footsteps for Fours):
A comprehensive curriculum that includes language arts, handwriting, social studies, science, music, and art.
Bible is an integral part of our Pre-K program as well, using CMD Children’s Ministry Curriculum to teach foundational faith concepts in an engaging and age-appropriate way.
